Members of the press from around the world are warmly invited to attend the W2i Digital Cities Convention, the global thought-leadership conference series designed to accelerate the adoption of broadband wireless technologies for economic and social development and education. We especially encourage the media to attend the W2i Wireless Communities Best Practices Awards ceremony.
Each Digital Cities Convention is hosted by the Wireless Internet Institute typically in cooperation with a local-government entity such as the City of Philadelphia or the City of Bilbao, Spain, with support from private-sector and international-development organizations. The Convention provides stakeholders with high-level analysis, brainstorming sessions and an opportunity for consensus building on the issues surrounding broadband wireless networks for local government. For members of the press, the Convention is an excellent opportunity to learn firsthand the impressions of industry experts, field practitioners, technology vendors, and systems integrators.
To request a press pass, simply e-mail with your name, title, and publication and a brief expression of your interest to attend. You will receive a response from the W2i team shortly thereafter. For information on sponsorship, exhibitions, and media partnerships, please contact Daniel Aghion, Executive Director, W2i at , (617) 439-5400.
